Sometime when the developers save the changes, they will get an error message as " The object is locked by a transport request # eg : DEVK99999. and unable to save the changes.
In that case the objects which got locked in the DEVK99999 needs to be unlocked.
Below is the process thru which you can easily unlock the objects, But before Basis unlock the objects it is always mandatory to check with the owner of the Transport Request DEVK99999, to ensure no impact to the changes performed by him.
Once you got the confirm, than please follow the below steps.
Go to Se03 Transaction Code.
and in the next screen double click on Unlock objects(Expert Tool) as shown in the below screenshot.
In the next screen , Enter the transport request Number and click Execute button, This will unlock the objects saved in DEVK99999.
